Behind Ablaze’s brave heart is a family full of love, faith, and unwavering strength.

His parents, Pastor John Paul and Rena Gail Betansos, are full-time pastors at The Rock City Church in Pampanga. They have faithfully dedicated their lives to ministry — nurturing a growing church family and serving their community with compassion, humility, and joy.

They are also loving parents to three beautiful children:

• Amaze – their vibrant and curious eldest,

• Ablaze – their courageous heart warrior, and

• Wonder – their newest blessing, a newborn baby full of light and hope.

Even in this difficult season, the Betansos family continues to inspire those around them with their resilience and faith. They believe with all their hearts that God is working through this journey, and they are clinging to the hope that healing and restoration are coming.

Now, we have the opportunity to stand with them — in prayer, in love, and in generosity — as they face this battle for Ablaze’s heart.
